Hi dear reader
Minty is not my name.
I started writing poetry when I was 20 and in the late 90’s I ran a performance poetry night in Camden, London.
A half written book lies somewhere at the back of my wardrobe. It was replaced in my minds eye by pinstripe and outlook.
Somehow I found myself here and saw a community of like minded souls.
Writers cramp is no longer a valid excuse……………I’m just going to open up and flow.
So here find my poetry, dating, parenting, life and coping experiences.
I’m just muddling along, doing the best I can.
My blog is more than a year old and if I’m honest I thought I would have run out of things to write by now. But life is a beautifully twisted road that sometimes lifts us high then throws us low so I find something to put to the page most weeks.
I hope you enjoy what I write, even the ugly and sad recounting of difficult times gone by.
Some of it is sweet, some explicit. I make no apologies.
All your comments are greatly appreciated and I look forward to hearing from you.
Have a fabulous day!
